At Long Last!

Hello World, I have returned!

I hope 2026 has been treating you well so far!

I know you’ve missed me (or so I’d like to imagine), and I’ve missed you as well. You probably wondered what happened to me over the past couple of months, and the answer is as simple as it gets: I was burned out to the point where storytelling felt like a chore rather than a hobby.

That being said, I could sit here and give you another thousand reasons behind my sabbatical, or I could let you in on what’s coming next, starting with Grace’s story. We’ll be wrapping things up, as The Road to Nowhere will finally be leading home. Grace’s journey will come to an end; however, we will continue to follow her progress, along with her son, Zach, and so much more. The secrets of Blooming Beyond will unravel, and the truth behind Dario’s story will come to light.

As some of you may already know, the Ruiz Brothers' story was planned to go down the publication route. It is for that reason that I decided to remove it from the blog and host it on my Patreon until further notice. This resolution saddens me because I know that some of you actually cherished the story. However, it is easy to overlook the amount of time and effort invested into bringing it to life for an audience's entertainment. Trust me when I tell you that engagement goes a long way and motivates any creative to do what they do best. That ship has long sailed for the Ruiz the moment the story hit the 30,000-word mark (and counting).

It all turned into a project beyond the Sims and its community, even beyond me.
It is for that reason that any narration related to the brothers (along with any text over five hundred words long, really) will be posted in my creative space on Patreon from this point forward, available to those who truly resonate with my writing. I may also look into gifting a few memberships down the line—more on that later.

Fear not, the brothers will not be forgotten—on the very contrary! We’ll be following their progress every step of the way. The format may be different from what you're used to, but I look forward to sharing everything I've had cookingđź–¤

It's going to be a blast!

~Flora
